Just before midnight a high speed train from Milan arrives at Rome's Termini station. No-one emerges from the top class carriage - the doors do not open. The conductor goes in and doesn't emerge. His friend goes looking for him and finds everyone dead. Deputy police chief Columba Casellius is sent to investigate and she sends for the decontamination squads. Soon after the police receive a video where 2 men claim responsibility naming ISIS. Caselli is assigned to an area with an Islamic center, knows the Imam and talks to him. Things go wrong and Dante Torre comes to help her. Action in Berlin, Rome, Venice. Gittine the mythological angel of death arises.
