Amazing and addictive reading.
Signs preceding the end of the world is a powerful novella about immigrants, their lives and necessary adaptions in mind and language in order to survive. I ended up like Makina feeling "skinned". The declaration on page 217 is the most harrowing and haunting description of what it is to be an immigrant I have ever read.
A novella easy to read, that is not afraid to deal with the difficult issues.
